Hey Shadi & Malouna, it's a pleasure to have you! You're not just producing music together, but also building a life as a couple. Would you say the growth in your relationship over time has influenced the development of your productions? If so, how?
"Hello Malte & the DKJ crew. Yes, of course. Our paths crossed through music so it played a major role since the beginning. We inspire each other and that lets us grow into our relationship so we definitely feel being together has influenced not just our productions but also our whole understanding for music and creative flow."
What do you love most about being an artist?
"The creative freedom that comes with being an artist."
What fascinates you about your art from?
"It is incredibly rewarding to see the positive impact that our music can have on others."
What do you want to express with your music?
"We want to express our thoughts and feelings."
In which ways could the scene improve in the future?
"The music scene could improve in the future by providing more diversity within the music industry and offering more opportunities for artists from all backgrounds could help to create a more inclusive and vibrant music scene."
Favorite release at the moment & of all times?
"That is actually the most difficult question because there are so many great releases. But if we would have to choose one it would probably be Township Rebellion - Romeo (actually that whole four-track EP which is called ‚Balance')."
